Pakistan and squash go hand in hand. The two have years of history together, of course largely due to the great Jahangir Khan.

But this time, it’s another Pakistani squash star making the headlines. His name, Hamza Khan.

Hamza won the British Junior open squash championship in Birmingham, defeating an English player in his hometown.

The under 15 player beat his opponent convincingly by 11-4, 11-4 and 11-7 in a fairly one sided final highlight his extraordinary ability.

Sports fans generally watch sport at the highest level, and only focus on what is at that level. But personally, we feel young talent shining is equally as exciting.

I’m sure it won’t be long before the World knows about Hamza Khan, especially after he won this World title for Pakistan.

The young champion promises to have an exciting career ahead of him, and we wish him all the very best. Even if he has half the success the former great squash players of Pakistan have had, he will go far.

We will be keeping a key eye on him!
