Our Pakistani star, Muhammad Asif has won his second World snooker title.

The Faisalabad born champion won his first World snooker title in 2012 in Bulgaria, and repeated the achievement 7 years later in Antalya, Turkey.

The win in the final of the IBSF World championship looked fairly straight forward, after the masterfully skilled Asif won three consecutive sets.

But his Phillipine born opponent came back to make the game interesting and levelled up.

In the end, the Pakistani snooker superstar came out on top with a 8-5 lead and ended up winning his second World title for Pakistan.

The champion player continues to make Pakistan proud at the top level, and he is someone we always keep our eye on whenever he is about to participate in a tournament.

We thank him for all the hours of hard work he has put in, in order to enhance Pakistan’s name at the sporting level.

We hope 2020 is just as successful for him as 2019 was.
